 Cheap Animation Paper, September 4, 2005Who needs expensive punched animation bond when 3-hole punched copy paper will do? For several years now we have been using this kind of paper (any brand will do) to create animation drawings. For a pegbar, I use a modified wood ruler for 3-ring binders with short 5/8" dowel pieces glued into the 3 holes. The 3-hole punch paper slides over the dowels perfectly and keeps drawings registered. I always keep the holes on the top and usually draw with the aid of a Light Tracer light box. You can even store your drawings in a 3-ring binder. D-ring styles are the best choice for this purpose.
